What customers say

Published by Greenback Painting of Sacramento, quoted as written. No star ratings are shown because none was recorded with them.

We’re in Rancho Cordova and hired GP Sacramento for an interior repaint. Fernando painted the main living areas in a warm white and chose a low-sheen finish that helped soften the appearance of the wall texture. The living room now feels clean, calm, and refreshed.

Scarlet Nguyen Customer testimonial

Great price! Our rental in Citrus Heights needed a fast turnaround between leases. Curtis and Fernando came together and did it in one full day, two people, four rooms. Clean result, ready for showing the next morning.

Simmy Kaur Customer testimonial

Erik did a really nice job painting our ceiling and beams. Even though there are a lot of angles up there, everything came out clean and even, especially around the fan. He showed up on time, took his time with the details, and kept the area neat while he worked. We also added a few doors after he started, and he was totally flexible about it.

Tristin Stephens Customer testimonial

Greenback Painting worked with me when I was pretty honest that my budget was tight. I am on a fixed income and the exterior really needed doing. Curtis came out, assessed where the exterior was actually failing, and focused the scope on the sections showing peeling and weathering. That kind of prioritized approach was exactly what I needed.

Why Greenback Painting

Why people call

Free estimates, a written scope before any work, and preparation done for the climate the paint actually has to survive.

The estimate is free and on site

Somebody walks the property with you, looks at the actual surfaces and answers questions about color, sheen and sequence. You get a written proposal out of it at no cost and with no obligation.

The scope is written down first

Materials, labor, preparation and timeline, in writing, before anything begins. Most disputes about painting are disagreements about scope that nobody wrote down.

Preparation is the job

Washing, scraping, patching, caulking and priming is where an exterior repaint is won or lost in this valley. A coating applied over dust, over growth or onto a hot wall fails early no matter what it cost.

Straight answers about what lasts

A deck in full sun does not hold a finish as long as a shaded wall, and a west-facing elevation fades before the north side. You will hear that before the job rather than after it.

How it works

From the call to the last coat

  1. Call, text or send photos

Say what the job is and roughly how big — a room, a whole interior, an exterior, a kitchen of cabinets, a deck. Photographs help more than a description does, and you can text them straight through.

  2. A free on-site estimate

Somebody comes and walks the property with you, looks at the surfaces, checks the areas where failure usually starts, and answers questions about color, sheen and sequence.

  3. A written proposal

Materials, labor, preparation and timeline, written down and sent to you. No obligation, and nothing begins until you have agreed to it.

  4. A start date you agree to

Exterior work is weather-dependent and gets scheduled around the heat rather than through it, so the date is a conversation rather than an assignment.

  5. Preparation, then paint

Covering, washing, scraping, patching, caulking and priming, before any finish coat goes on. This is most of the work and most of the reason the result lasts.

  6. A walkthrough before it is done

You walk the finished project together. Anything that is not right gets put right before the job is called finished.
